Club Meeting

Sept. 10^th,2002

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Shawn Upton KB1CKT

Officers present were President Shawn Upton KB1CKT,Secretary,Don Curtis N1ZIH.

Following a round of introductions, Jerry, K1BBQ did presentations on 2002 field day and NH ARES and CAARES.

The upcoming business meeting will be at Lee Scott’s home Sept. 24^th,2002 at 7:00 pm.

The July minutes were discussed.

Shawn sent out another email regarding the whereabouts of the club assets.

The hosstraders club table was discussed.

CAARES will do talk-in. Contact Al Marin K1CYJ to sign up for talk-in duties.

The CVRC flea market was discussed. Shawn will send an email to Jock to get things started.

New business

Dave Perrin discussed the GO list.

Ken Wilkins discussed the christmas party. A motion was made and passed to do the same as last year and hold it at the Cat&Fiddle restaurant.

Programs will be;

October nominations for officers. There will be an article in the Key re; nominations.

Chip Taylor, W1AIM will do a program on weak signal VHF.

Dale, AF1T discussed classes. Lee suggested we come up with new ways to get people interested in tech licensing.

Participation in the bass fishing tournament on Sept.21^st 2002 was discussed Volunteers are needed to assist with communications. The location is Memorial Field in Pembroke. The times are approximately 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
