JUNE 14^TH MEETING MINUTES

Officers present; John Moore N1FOJ Dale Clement AF1T Don Curtis N1ZIH and Scott Clay N1ZGO.

1.Tom Frenaye has invited John N1FOJ to an ARRL N.E. division cabinet meeting Sunday July 10^th in Putney, VT. Anyone who has issues to go to the league should contact John ASAP.

2.Jim Fowler KA1SU sent John an email re; membership. Scott N1ZGO will be sending him an application.

3. Bob Hadley K1DWI is moving to Mississippi and requesting help taking down a 30’ tower with antennas which he will be donating to the club. Some of us will be going over this Friday[ June 17^th] in the afternoon.

4. Secretary’s report submitted by Don N1ZIH. The May meeting minutes have been posted on the CVRC website. 80 copies of the June Key were mailed out.

5. Treasurer’s report. One check was issued to Don Curtis for printing and mailing of the Key.

6.Various field day topics were discussed including field day meals. Micki K1MKY ran down plans for the food for the weekend. The cost for the weekend will be $20.00 and an extra $7.00 for the lobster feed that Larry Damour N1PHV will be putting on. Dale AF1T talked about dupe sheets. Two types will be available. Different ways of getting bonus points were also discussed.

7. Upcoming events include our club outing which will take place at Lee Scott’s AA1YN home. A motion was passed to combine this with our July business meeting. The date for this will be July 23. We will also beholding a regular meeting that month on Tuesday July 12^th. The Marconi museum visit will be Tuesday August 9^th.

8. Welcome to our new member Mark Faulkner, N1KYJ. Mark resides in Warner and has many interests which will be a real asset to the club. Congratulations.

9. Food will be provided by Richard KK1RR and drinks by Don N1ZIH.

10. The business meeting will be at Dale’s home on June 28^th at 7:30 pm.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 p.m.
