Club Meeting
June 11th, 2002
The meeting was called to order at 7:23
p.m. by Shawn Upton KB1CKT
After
introductions, Skip,N1PHZ passed around a sign-up sheet for field day meals and
T-shirts.
Don N1ZIH
updated the membership on the latest issue of the Key. He received it late and
it will be mailed out later this week.
Jerry K1BBQ
presented the evening’s program on the final wrap-up of field day plans.
A motion was
made and passed to reimburse members for generator fuel consumption during
field day.
After a five minute break the meeting reconvened. Tom N1SKZ
updated us on the repeater. The output pl tone is still turned off. Weather
permitting, Tom Matisko and Chris Sieg will be going up the mountain To
overhaul the repeater, antenna etc.
Rob,K1CFI reported on CAARES activations, Hosstraders
talk-in and the fire wardens drill.
115 hams requested talk-in assistance for hosstraders. For
the fire wardens drill, communications assistance was provided to the ARC and
OEM.
The Monday nets are going really well with an average 15
check-ins every week.
Lee AA1YN suggested CAARES do a program at one of our
upcoming meetings.
Our next business meeting will be held at the Concord
chapter of the American Red Cross.167 North Main street
On June 25th,2002 at 1900 hours.
Our July meeting will be at the Hopkinton town library on
July 9th,2002.
Al will be providing drinks and Shawn will provide the food.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 pm
