Club Meeting

May 14^th,2002

The meeting was called to order at 7:24 p.m. by Shawn Upton KB1CKT

Officers present were President Shawn Upton KB1CKT,Secretary,Don Curtis N1ZIH. Dave Connor filled in as treasurer in Skip’s absence.Thanks to Dave for his continued assistance in that position.

Jason,N1IIC gave a demonstration on APRS installation. Following a brief break,Lee AA1YN gave a demonstration on PSK 31.

Treasurer’s report read and accepted.

Reminder of Wednesday field day meeting at Lee,s home

Discussion was continued on field day hats and t-shirts. A motione was made and seconded to order 2 dozen shirts.

12 will be red and 12 will be blue.Orders were also taken for the hats.

Tom N1SKZ updated the membership on the upcoming fire warden’s drill

Repeater;

Tom and Lindsay will be making a trip to the rptr. Site, weather permitting, to make repairs to the rptr.in the near future.

Mailings are going well. We could use more articles for the June issue of the Key, technical articles what have you.

The next meeting will not be at the library.but will be held at the Hopkinton community center.

The next business meeting will be at Lee Scott’s residence on May 28^th at 7:00 pm.

Thanks to Lee and his wife for their continued hospitality.

Dale has advised us the field will be available again this year. We got high marks for the way the field was taken care before and after field day.

Food and drink. John Moore,KB1CSI will provide the refreshments.

A motion was seconded and voted on and the meeting adjourned at 9:37 p.m.
