I. Hamfest

-insurance sent off and all taken care of

-ht is being procured by Jason

-gift certificates from HRO $25 and $50 will need to be picked up (Shawn will take care of them)

-Lee and Don will arrive early to set up

-there will be a club table

-we need signs for the speakers- Dale will make up any posters needed on the spot (will also do posters for door prizes and raffles)

-called Dexter to make sure VE session is still on- it is and will start at 9am

-speakers will be allotted 45 minutes each with talks starting at 9,10, and 11am

-refreshments- need people to help out- will check with Dave to see about popcorn maker and hotdog machine- will also need soda, coffee, donuts, hot dogs and buns- Kristi will make cake and brownies

-CAARES will be doing talk-in

II. Emcomm Course

-Jerry is in charge and attempts to call him during the meeting were unsuccessful

-Jerry should make the decision to cancel

III. Repeater

-will keep $20 aside each month for the repeater fund starting January 1 (any extra funds obtained for the repeater will be added to the ledger)

IV. Future Meetings

A. March “Cable and Connector Clinic”

-need to advertise- bring your own cable, connectors, and soldering supplies

B. April Trip to Marconi Museum

-bring cake for Ray’s birthday

C. May

-Rick Littlefield

V. Field Day

-volunteers are needed for the committee- will put out the call at the next meeting

VI. Ten-Tec

-Ten-Tec will sell kits to the club at 25% off and then the club will sell at full price for profit

-no shipping charges for those who buy from the club

-Shawn will send out an email for orders from members

VII. Treasurer’s Report

-John has made up a form for Requesting Funds from the club to help facilitate and document reimbursements

-those present gave suggestions about the new form and John will make the necessary modifications
