The Contoocook Valley Radio Club is a general
interest Amateur Radio Club based in the Henniker, New Hampshire area.
The CVRC was formed in 1959
to facilitate the exchange of information and general cooperation
between members, to promote radio knowledge, fraternalism and individual
operating efficiency, and to so conduct club programs and activities as
to advance the general interest and welfare of amateur radio in the
general community.
The CVRC annually provides communications for
several public service events such as walks and bicycle rides that raise
funds for non-profit organizations.
CVRC members
are active in the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES). Members
participate in weekly training nets and in Simulated Emergency
Tests. These members are trained and experienced, and are able to
provide both equipment and assistance in public service emergencies.
The CVRC participates in Field Day, and annual
exercise to set up and operate
several radio stations on portable emergency power for competing in the
annual national Field Day event.
The CVRC meets monthly for members share
information, experiences, and amateur radio operating techniques.

Repeater 146.895MHz -600 Offset, 100 Hz PL, Pat's Peak, Henniker, New
Hampshire.
