Family Picknic: This
is an invitation to the annual CVRC Club Picnic to all CVRC Members and
their families. This event is free. The Contoocook
Radio Club provides the Barbeque and sodas, we just bring our favorite
side dishes. Location: 831 Hemlock Corner Loop in
Time: Noon on Saturday, July 26th. Hosts: Jen,
Jeff, KB1WTI, Shaw. Telephone: 428-7109
Directions: From downtown Henniker, go up Rush Road ( the
between the Chinese Restaurant and the New England College
Administration Building). Stay on the tar road. At about 2 1/2 miles
out you will come to a Y in the road at the Hemlock Corner
sign. Take the left tar fork. Go up the hill and around the
corner . # 831 is the first house on the right, and it is

need a head count by Wed. night to know how many ribs, chicken, burgers
and hot dogs to purchase. Email email@example.com to RSVP.
(AF1T) and Steve (N1JHJ) will also be running an antenna clinic.
2m transmitter will be available, if you wish to test something
else, please bring an apporpriate transmitter.
Out Against Crime is an annual event held in Concord at Rollings Park.
The club will be setting up an info booth and a station.

Field Day thanks to Don, N1ZIH. Many folks are to
be thanked for their outstanding efforts including Larry Beagle KB1RIJ
for coordinating this years event; Stormy Gleason AA1ES for setting up
the logging network; Glen Hammond for setting up the electrical grid;
Paul Cuda for the use of the generator; Dale Clement and Steve Jones
for their help and mentoring with the new setup; Dave Connors, Louise
French, and Mickie Clement for the great food they prepared; Jeff and
Jennifer Shaw for their help with setup and teardown and the great job
they did rearranging the storage trailer; the band captains for a great
job as usual; and everyone else's help with setup and teardown ... and
not forgetting to mention those who spent hour, and late hours, keeping
K1BKE and K1DFQ on the air.

couple of reminders about the CVRC email reflector:
you change your e-mail address and discontinue the one you used to
subscribed to the e-mail reflector with, you will not get any e-mail
from the reflector. You have to re-subscribe your new e-mail address;
follow the "subscribe" link at the bottom of this page.
you send an e-mail to the reflector, it HAS to be originating from the

The CVRC meets on the second Tuesday of each month usually at the Hopkinton
Town Library in Contoocook, NH, (except December and some
Julys). Rag chew at 7 PM; Meeting at 7:30 PM. Talk-in is on
146.895 / R, -600hz, 100 Hz PL. Meetings are open to both
members and nonmembers.
Business Meetings are held each month, two weeks after the Regular
Monthly Meeting at 7 PM. All are encouraged to
participate. We lay all of the groundwork for the
club activities at these meetings.
